Incarceration to Liberation
Our mission is to be a caring community willing to walk alongside anyone impacted by the criminal justice system as they navigate the system and change their lives. We believe every person is a divine expression of God’s life — and that the support of a loving community makes all the difference.
No one should face the courts or the journey home from prison alone. This ministry offers accompaniment to anyone navigating the legal system, whether for themselves or with a loved one. We are a safe place for anyone navigating these experiences to find support and be heard.
We are also a member of Underground Ministries’ One Parish One Prisoner program, walking alongside a fellow human being returning from incarceration.
This ministry began with multiple Visioning sessions. The vision team used Michael Beckwith’s visioning process to ask what Spirit’s highest vision is for each aspect of the Criminal Justice System. To view Spirit’s Vision for Dealing with Crime and Criminality, click here.
Living Well During Illness Support Group
The Living Well During Illness Support Group provides compassionate support to individuals facing health challenges. They create a safe and inclusive space where participants can freely express their emotions, fears, and uncertainties related to their illnesses, while incorporating elements of faith and spirituality into their healing journeys.
Are you dealing with cancer or other illness? Join in this drop-in support group to help nurture your spirit while your body heals.
Join Tuesdays 1-2pm PT by Phone Only. Email info@spiritualliving.org for the conference call number.
Compassionate Connections
The purpose of the Compassionate Connections support group is to offer personal contact and support to those in need in our community. Support may include phone calls, emails or a visit. The homebound, one recovering from surgery, chronically ill or receiving a new diagnosis benefit from a sense of connection with us. Our community goes beyond the walls of our building.
