Rev. Jeri Hudson

Practitioner Prayer and Care Minister

“But we are born to be happy, to be abundantly supplied with every good thing, to have fun in living, to consciously unite with the Divine Power that is around us and within us, and to grow and expand forever.” Ernest Holmes

Jeri grew up as an army brat, a middle child, and a preacher’s kid (proof God has a sense of humor!). Although her religious roots are Southern Baptist, Evangelical and Pentecostal she had a spiritual awakening when she was 11 that gave her an understanding that God is called by many names.

On Christmas Eve 1997, Jeri came to CSL for the music but also found Religious Science and the path that would direct her life from then on. It was the best present she ever received. In 2006, while singing Daniel Nahmod’s song “One Power,” she had a profound and heart opening experience. She realized she had wandered 40 years only to come back to that simple understanding she had when she was 11. There is just this One Thing worshipped by many names; One Power that lives inside of us, loves us, and wants to be our constant companion.

Although Jeri came to ministry reluctantly, she found her utmost joy and deepest calling as a Minister. Jeri brings her unique way of seeking and experiencing God to all that she does. Whether it is teaching, preaching, or assisting someone one on one to find that place within themselves that knows and knows that it knows, Jeri is at home in God.

Jeri is passionate about God, Religious Science, family, music, and art.
