Volunteers supporting Youth & Family Ministries
Who are teaching our children?
A Volunteer staff of over 40 congregants supports the Children at Center for Spiritual Living. K.I.D.S. Program teachers have made a pledge to be proactively involved in the Spiritual Education of children by first and foremost spiritually feeding themselves. Teachers receive an orientation to the philosophy of Youth Ministry at Center for Spiritual Living. They receive ongoing training in classroom management, communication and various teaching skills, as well as receiving practitioner prayer support.
Parent Involvement
Because parents and guardians are the most important teachers in their children's spiritual journey, we have designed our program to include parents. Parents volunteer in the classroom with their children at least 1 time in a 2 month period. They receive a free CD of the day's service when volunteering.
Staff
During all Youth & Family programs, at least one staff person is present. Staff are trained in youth development and are CPR & First Aid Certified.
There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available to support YFM.
