Volunteers supporting Youth & Family Ministries
Who are teaching our children?
A Volunteer staff of over 40 congregants supports the Children at CSL K.I.D.S Program teachers have made a pledge to be proactively involved in the Spiritual Education of children by first and foremost Spiritually feeding themselves. Teachers receive an orientation to the philosophy of Youth Ministry at Center for Spiritual Living; training on classroom management, monthly skill booster trainings and practitioner prayer support.
Parent Involvement
Because parents and guardians are the most important teachers in their children's spiritual journey, we have designed our program to include parents. We have families volunteer in the classroom with their children 1 time in a 2 month period. You will receive a free CD of the days service when you volunteer.
Staff
During all Youth & Family programs, at least one staff person is present. Staff are trained in youth development and are CPR & First Aid Certified.
