Rev. Michael Bogar

Michael has been working with the Seattle Center for Spiritual Living for over 20 years. He is an adjunct faculty member with the Holmes School of Consciousness Studies, is currently the director of the Spiritual Enrichment Center of West Sound on Bainbridge Island and conducts classes, seminars and workshops in the U.S. and Canada. He spent a summer working with religiously and politically oppressed families in Eastern Europe and built houses for ten years in the 1990s. He has attained graduate degrees in Biblical Studies, Mythology and Depth Psychology, but most importantly has done extensive field experience in the school of life’s ups and downs. His teaching, writing and counseling underscore soul-making—a point of view which holds that our souls do not come pre-formed, but are made here during our tenure in Earth-school through our every single thought, emotion and action—and through every single success and failure.
