Cindy Akana has been writing and performing faith-based songs in churches, colleges, and conference centers as well as in prisons for over 30 years. She started writing New Thought songs just a couple years ago after becoming part of the Center for Spiritual Living. Cindy finished her first New Thought CD "Evolve" in 2009 and is busy writing songs for her next one. As the Worship Leader at the Methodist Church in Des Moines, WA, Cindy leads a Rock Worship Band and integrates New Thought principles in her teachings and personal spiritual practice.
