T’is
I was touched at a deep and profound level by wonderful Sufi
musicians and dancers during my recent trip to Egypt. They
seemed to play and move with “other-worldly” beauty as they
performed “for the glory of God.”
This morning I was reminded that Krishna told Anjuna, in the
Hindu Holy Book, the Bhagavad-Gita, to “do all you do in
worship of me.” (I’m paraphrasing here).
The suggested spiritual practice for this week is to pick a
day, any day, and do all that you do that day as worship. Do
the laundry to glorify the purity of Spirit. Make lunches
for your children as a celebration of Love. Apologize to
someone you are out of sorts with as an offering to Divine
Peace. Try it for one day and call it a “Holy Day.”
Happy Holy Days to you!
Much love,
Kathianne Lewis
