Youth & Family Ministries Fundraising 2011-2012
Center for Spiritual Living
Purpose: Joy, Abundance & Connection
Vision: Raise the vibration of Joy in Family and Community through fund raising activities
that abundantly bless our entire spiritual community and help expand the services of Youth and Family Ministries.
Primary Goal: To fundraise for Youth & Family Ministries in fun, community-building ways, empowering YFM to provide:
- Housing and food for the volunteer teaching staff and advisors for Youth and Teen programs at Seabeck
- Scholarships for youth to attend Seabeck and other camps
- Childcare staffing and food for special events, volunteer trainings and special classes for parents
- Additional technology and support materials necessary for growth in the YFM programs
Participate:
- Chair or serve on a Planning or Event Committee
- Donate funds, food or supplies for scholarships, program or fundraising event
- Volunteer to serve at an event
- Help recruit others to participate
- Participate and purchase while having great fun!
- Volunteer in classes, camp or the Family Welcome Team!
TO DATE, Fun Raisers have provided great joy and connection for our community!
In addition, we raised over $9400 for scholarships this past year. Our continuing cookbook sales helped to provide the housing and food costs for our awesome team of 15 camp teachers and advisors at Seabeck.

90th Anniversary Cookbook
Recipes were collected from our community, advance sales generated the money necessary to publish and our cookbook is in now in publication. Copies continue to be available to purchase in Fellowship Hall after services.
Halloween Brunch
Enjoy delicious food and fellowship after services for Halloween, see kids (and grown-ups) in costume expressing their "Wisdom of the Heart", carve a family jack-o-lantern at home and bring to the Pumpkin Carving Contest.
Soulful Snacks
Energize your body with some delicious snacks and beverages before during and after the "Soul Train Meets American Bandstand Concert". Free dance lessons at 6:00pm in the Fellowship Hall help you prepare to dance the night away!
Fall , Holiday and Valentine's Day Brunches
Fall in love with the scrumptious foods provided to warm the heart and soul after services. Enjoy a Spiritual Tune-Up with one of our powerful practitioners and celebrate the season's holidays.
