There are a growing number of people like you and me.

According to a report by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, the number of people in the United States who consider themselves Protestants has fallen below 50% for the first time in US history. With that has come a spike in numbers of people who believe in God, pray daily, but don’t have a denomination affiliation. They might call themselves “spiritual but not religious.” Who’s that sound like to you?

Over the years many people have expressed their joy at having finally found a place that confirms what they’ve always believed, which in turn warms my heart. After all, we don’t want to convert people to our way of thinking. We just want to let people who think like us know we are here (and the music is really good!).

If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.
