Make this Holy Time Meaningful

There’s so much "goings on" this time of year. The streets and parking lots all seem more crowded. People are really out and about! As for me, I feel the pull to go in, light a fire and share meaningful conversations with people I enjoy and love. I will shop, not to seem generous or thoughtful or in hope of something in return, but I may get a chance to "snag" just the right thing to put a smile on another person’s face. To me it’s a symbol of "knowing and caring" for another. And while others are planning vacation getaways (luckily Egypt is almost completely planned), I will contemplate God’s will and instructions for the coming year. To me this means no matter what’s going on outside, I still listen to the Voice within.

CSL has many activities planned for December. We have everything from a Celtic Christmas celebration to the retelling of Scrooge’s transformation. And no matter what the activity, it is filled with meaning: we love you and wish you great comfort and joy.

If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.
